The most commonly used SD card sizes for GoPro cameras are 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. These sizes offer a good balance between storage space and cost-effectiveness. However, newer GoPro models like the GoPro Hero 12, Hero 11 and Hero 10 support larger capacities such as 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. With EAC encoding 25 percent less pixels than Fusion, we can achieve a net bitrate increase even though the overall bitrate is less, meaning much smaller file sizes. File sizes get even smaller with one final MAX advantage. With MAX, we are also encoding in HEVC, and 60Mbps in HEVC is equivalent to 90Mbps with H.264.

Remove the SD card and disconnect the USB cable. Please press and hold the [Mode Button] button on the front of the camera for about ten seconds. If the camera doesn't power ON, plug in a GoPro USB cable and connect to a 5V/2A wall charger (5V/1A minimum), let it sit for five seconds, and try to turn it on. The Hero4 cameras can use SD cards that are up to 128GB in capacity. They also support microSD cards, but they must be formatted using a specific tool before they can be used with the camera. The recommended SD card speed class for the Hero4 cameras is Class 10 or UHS-1. The Hero3+ cameras can use SD cards that are up to 64GB in capacity. TF7e. 71751444239718110221465
