The most commonly used SD card sizes for GoPro cameras are 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. These sizes offer a good balance between storage space and cost-effectiveness. However, newer GoPro models like the GoPro Hero 12, Hero 11 and Hero 10 support larger capacities such as 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. Remove the SD card and disconnect the USB cable. Please press and hold the [Mode Button] button on the front of the camera for about ten seconds. If the camera doesn't power ON, plug in a GoPro USB cable and connect to a 5V/2A wall charger (5V/1A minimum), let it sit for five seconds, and try to turn it on. The Hero4 cameras can use SD cards that are up to 128GB in capacity. They also support microSD cards, but they must be formatted using a specific tool before they can be used with the camera.
