3. Before you say this is a duplicate, I am well versed in the normal operation of portals, and understand how to link portals that are very close to each other. This problem is occurring in spite of my understanding. I have two portals - the main access to my base, at y=66, and a portal which is supposed to take me to the top of my mob spawner
Normal minecarts will instantly go through a nether portal on contact regardless of speed, however carts with extra parts on them added by a cart assembler will not go through. I tested this with a simple minecart with just oak planks on top. P.S. Thanks for developing this mod, it's very special.
But you can experience it there. Just make a nether portal, there is gonna be this wierd bookshelf in your creative inventory, place it down and right click the bookshelf. You will get a book with random numbers which you are to throw in the portal to generate a random dimension.
When the top of a Shulker mob is facing directly towards a portal block, it gets teleportet to the nether as soon as it opens. While opening, the hitbox of the Shulker is expanding to the next block (e.g. the nether portal block). Observed/Actual behavior. the hitbox is crossing the portal, but no teleporting happens. Or using commands to spawn in portal blocks. This portal has a rectangular frame, but there is a second layer in front to disguise it and make it look rounded. Hm, upon closer inspection it looks like some (if not all) of the portal blocks are directly next to nether brick, so I think it's just using world edit like u/didde31 said.
My nether portal spawned me under a huge lake of lava. I’ve tried digging up but there’s just lava. I’ve dug straight for a couple of minutes and then up but still lava. I’ve also tried to change the location of my nether portal but it still takes me to the one underground. This is weird because my nether portal in the overworld is
