2000 1.6 Zetec Thermostat I went to change the thermostat last night, having done a million and one in the 1.8. 2.0 Mondeos and a few Escorts, 30 minute job tops I thought. I stripped everything off around the usual location for the thermostat housing (to the right of the head, beside the battery / air filter, underneath the coil).
