Check your fuses, relays, wire harnesses under the hood, especially near exhaust. It is possible that some wires got displaced and melted due to heat causing a short. I would care fully check the SMG pump and wire going to it. I am not too much help with SMG, as mine is stick shift but that would be my route of debugging it.iTrader: ( 3) It is safe to say: All S65 engines experience rod bearing wear. Not all S65 engines fail due to rod bearing wear. If the M3 is a car you want to buy, drive hard, and keep, it would be a wise investment to have them swapped at some interval. The interval depends on the car's prior use, modifications, and proposed use.
Im looking at buying soon and after doing lots of research and driving all the cars I am still torn between: 135. 335. e46 m3. Your looking at close to $30k to get a 135 or 335 with a nice 100,000 mile warranty. Or closer to $20-22k on a e46 m3 with no warranty.
